Roller Derby needs Refs and NSOs

Refs have the best view of the game. Refs are on skates calling penalties and assigning points. It’s a great way to be involved without being in the bout. A fully staffed game requires 2 Jam Refs plus inside pack refs (IPR) and outside pack refs (OPR). One of the refs is the head referee.

NSOs keep the bout going! A small army of NSOs is required for each bout, performing scorekeeping, penalty box timing, jam timing, or tracking lineups and given penalties.
