Collision is an adult roller derby league for skaters of all genders and experience levels. Whether you’re brand new to derby, looking for a new team, or just looking for another place to skate, you’re welcome here.
There’s no commitment required to come check us out. Drop into a practice, meet some people, skate with us, and see what you think.
All skaters need to complete waivers before participating. The easiest way is to let us know you’re coming is through our Discord server.

New to Derby?
YOU CAN DO THIS
You don’t need roller derby experience to get started with Collision. You don’t even need to know how to skate.
Our new-skater program gives you a low-pressure way to learn the fundamentals, get comfortable on quad skates, and find out whether roller derby is something you want to keep doing.
TWO MONTHS. $50. SEE WHERE IT TAKES YOU.
We’ll help you build the skills you need—from skating fundamentals, stopping and falling safely to footwork, control, and eventually the skills that make roller derby, well… roller derby.
No tryouts. No experience required. Just a willingness to give it a shot.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED (loaner gear may be available):
- Quad Skates
- Helmet (not a bike helmet)
- Knee Pads
- Elbow Pads
- Wrist Guards
- Mouth Guard — required for contact
- Water Bottle

COLLISION VIBES
We love roller derby. We also know everyone has jobs, families, school, other hobbies, and lives outside the rink. That’s why Collision is built around a pretty simple idea: derby should fit into your life—not take it over.
You don’t have to make every practice. There’s no outside work required to earn playing time. Show up when you can. Work hard when you’re here. Get better. Play derby. Have fun.
🛼 PLAY DERBY
We practice, scrimmage, bout, and look for opportunities to get our skaters on the track. Want to compete? Great. Mostly here because skating is ridiculously fun? Also great.
💪 GET BETTER TOGETHER
There’s always another skill to learn, whether you’ve been skating for two months or twenty years. We challenge each other, help each other, and celebrate the wins along the way.
🚐 GO PLACES
Derby takes us places. We travel together to play other teams, skate in mixers and tournaments, meet people throughout the derby community—and occasionally spend far too much time together in cars.
💙 FIND YOUR PEOPLE
Come for roller derby. You might end up with teammates, road-trip partners, Discord nonsense, post-practice food, and friendships you weren’t expecting.
